>> 1/2 cup grapeseed oil
>> 4 tbsp argan oil ( or a 60ml bottle)
>> 1 cup of dried selfheal flowers and leaves
>> 3 tbsp dried rosemary
>> 1 tsp vitamin E oil
>> 10 drops lavender essential oil
>> 10 drops frankincense essential oil
This infused oil takes a total of 24 hours.
Measure out the grapeseed and argan oil and place into a double boiler, or into a Pyrex measuring cup that fits into a pan of water. Add the selfheal and rosemary.
Turn on the heat until the oil is warm to the touch. Leave for 8 hours but stir every 2 hours or so. At night, remove from heat then cover and let sit overnight.
In the morning, heat oil one last time until warm to the touch, leave 20 minutes then turn stove off, let cool 10 minutes. Using well-layered cheesecloth strain the oil and keep squeezing until as much oil as possible has been strained.
Add the vitamin E and essential oils and stir well. Place in amber-coloured bottles, pump bottle or small jars. This must be stored in a dark, cool location.
If desired this can be made into a salve using beeswax.
