>> 5 tbsp. fresh lemon balm
>> 1 lemon
>> 6 tsp. grated nutmeg
>> 1 cinnamon stick (2-3" long)
>> 3 whole cloves
>> 1 litre vodka (or organic apple cider vinegar)
Finely chop the lemon balm then grate the lemon rind.
Mix everything with one litre of vodka set aside in a sunny spot for 14 days. (If using organic apple cider vinegar then place out of direct sunlight and let infuse for 4 to 6 weeks.)
After two weeks, filter through cheesecloth and pour into a sterilized bottle(s).
One teaspoon taken three times a day after meals can help with digestion.
