>> 1 750ml (26oz) bottle of good quality 40% vodka
>> 1/4 cup dried echinacea flowers and leaves
>> 1/4 cup slightly chopped lemon balm
>> 1/4 cup chopped fresh peppermint
>> 1/4 cup cut up lemon grass
>> 1/8 cup cut up fresh oregano
>> 1/8 cup elderberries
>> 1/8 cup cut up fresh ginger root
>> 1/8 cup dried astralagus root (chopped)
Pour about one cup of the vodka into a steralized cup. Add all ingredients into the vodka. You can omit some of these ingredients if desired, add less, or add more. Once all ingredients have been added then add in some of the vodka to refill the bottle. Place lid on and shake.
Keep out of direct sunlight for 6 weeks. Every second or third day give your bottle a shake. After 6 weeks strain well. Store the immune tonic out of direct sunlight.
For those who do not like vodka or any alcohol, organic apple cider vinegar can be used instead.
Take one or two tablespoons a day with water to help strengthen your immune system.
