>> 1 cup fresh picked rose petals
>> 1 cup fresh gathered elderberry flowers
>> 1/4 cup fresh lavender flowers
>> 8 cups water
>> sweetener of choice
In a large stock pot, bring the water to a boil, then turn the stove off. Add your sweetener of choice and mix well.
Place the flowers in the water. (It is ok if you cannot remove all petiole stems from the elderberry and lavender flowers.) Stir occasionally over the next 2 to 4 hours (time frame is your choice.) The longer the flowers infuse, the stronger the flavour and scent.
Once infused, strain, and pour the liquid into a container. Place in the fridge and allow this to get cold before enjoying! Use within one week.
