>> 3 cups chopped fresh cleavers
>> 9 cups of water
>> 1 freshly squeezed lemon
>> 1 cup pineapple chunks
>> 1 banana
Gather cleavers when it is (preferably) young and juicy; roughly chop them and then add to a blender with two cups of the water. Blend until it turns to a pulp-like puree.
Strain the plant matter from the juice into a large measuring cup and add enough water to bring the total volume to 9 cups. Rinse the blender and pour the juice back into it.
Then add in the lemon juice, pineapple (fresh is best but canned will work), and the banana. Blend well.
Chill before serving.
