>> 1 cup good quality vodka
>> 3/4 cup fresh chickweed
>> steralized mason jar
Be sure to gather fresh chickweed late morning when it is free of all moisture.
Finely chop chickweed and place into into the mason jar. Pour vodka into the jar and be sure that all the plant matter is totally covered with the alcohol. Use more if necessary.
Place lid on and label the jar with the date. Let sit (out of direct sunlight) 4 to 8 weeks. Shake every couple of days. After the 4 to 8 weeks, strain the mixture and discard the plant matter.
Place finished tincture into amber jars or any jar and be sure to keep it away from direct sunlight. Label jars.
