>> 50 aronia berries (fresh or frozen)
>> 2 1/2 cups water
>> 1 banana
>> 1 tbsp chia seed
>> 4 tbsp maple syrup
Place the chia seeds in a smoothie or regular blender with the water. Let sit (minimum) 10 to 15 minutes to allow the seeds to become soft.
If using frozen aronia berries, thaw before using. Add the aronia berries; blend about 5 to 10 seconds. Then, add the banana and maple syrup (or honey) and blend another 5 to 10 seconds.
This smoothie will be thick so stirring it every so often before taking a drink may be needed. Enjoy!
